Historic Images
Albany Rural Cemetery’s rich history as a prototypical rural cemetery was captured in the line drawings and photographs that are part of the tour guides from Churchill (1858) Fitzgerald (1871) and Phelps (1893). In addition as a part of a traveler’s experience in the late 19th and early 20th centuries, stereoview images were used to capture the experience of particular locations of interest for visitors such as Albany Rural Cemetery (ARC).

Presented here are some historic images of ARC from these publications and from stereoview images and postcards.
